We’ve booked the bus, packed our bags, and found the bug spray. Fusion will hit the road this summer headed for beautiful Cleveland, Tennessee. Lee University will play host to CIY:MOVE and will be our home for one week this July 23-29. Our Prep Day Meeting will occur Friday, July 22 @7PM. All Students will be required to attend this meeting alongwith at least one adult representative.
We’ll be leaving the evening of the 23rd and driving through the night on our bus to arrive fresh Sunday Morning in Tennessee. We’ll join a host church for worship that morning and then register for CIY and jump into a great week of ministry that you won’t soon forget.
More details will continue to roll out, but for right now all you need to know is that signups are open in Fusion. For event-specific details check out the official CIY:MOVE website, click the link here. Cost for CIY:MOVE is $370/student, a$100 deposit is due May 10th to secure your seat on the bus.
A new ministry is kicking off next month for all high school students who want to take their faith to the next step. Overflow is designed to be a space where students can explore and think through issues of their faith andour faith with more intentionality. Overflow will meet once a month for discussion, prayer, and connection. If you’re looking for more and ready to go deeper, Overflow is for you.
If you’re looking at this, you probably have a student signed up for ICTC, or are a student yourself. Either way, we’re really excited that you’d loan your student out for a night and promise to return them in mint condition.
We wanted to communicate a few details of the trip so you and your student can be as prepared as possible and that we can answer some of your questions in the process. If you want to know more about ICTC itself, you can follow the link for the event website at the bottom of this post. This is a great place to see the schedule, who will be speaking/performing, and hear breaking news.
The next piece of the puzzle is a WSCC Release Form. We need one of these from each and every student, we value safety and like to have these things on hand
We’ll be expecting your student in the lobby of the Springfield Hilton between 5:00-5:30PM, look for our High School Banner. They should have their overnight bag with them and we’ll be allowing them into their rooms at this time. When the doors open at 6PM, we’ll walk over as a group and formally open ICTC. You can pick up your student from the Hilton Lobby at 4:30PM, Saturday Afternoon. If your student is driving themselves, that’s fine, I simply need to know ahead of time.
The only items your student should need is a bible, notebook, something to write with, overnight bag, and money for lunch on Saturday. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to connectwith Josh.He’d love to connect with you.
